Over many years the name Shaab was synonymous with the very top show and event horse breeding, and we were fortunate to purchase a Thoroughbred mare by him. She had won and produced winners on the racetrack and went on to breed a number of show and sport horses for us.

 

The returning demand for the full Thoroughbred enticed us to cover her with the outstanding National Hunt sire, Arvico, the sire of numerous winning racehorses and having the stamp of the old fashioned middle weight stallion.

 

The result was Langaller King’s Manna, a dark brown, extremely handsome, well limbed Thoroughbred. He inherited the substance and stature of his father and the quality and kindness of his dam. He is a tall horse and was slow maturing, but he is now the epitome of a modern competition horse. His first few crops have proven our faith in him, and we are delighted that so many mare owners share our enthusiasm for him.
